
Quentin is Director of Education for the Diocese of Canterbury and leads its work and ministry in relation to children, young people and education. He is responsible for developing and articulating vision and strategy, managing a team that supports and resources schools, deaneries and parishes. As senior executive of the Diocesan Board of Education (DBE), Quentin provides system leadership, promoting and supporting the distinctive mission of church schools and ensuring that the DBE undertakes and meets its statutory functions and responsibilities, responding boldly and creatively to the opportunities and challenges of the educational landscape. Quentin has significant previous experience within education as a teacher, headteacher and post-graduate researcher. He represents the Diocese at Member level in several Academy Trusts, is a governor of St. Edmund’s School, Canterbury and an Honorary Lay Canon of Canterbury Cathedral.
